IJP’s

Already on the project and got an Internal Job Posting (IJP) in mind? Before you submit that Internal Job Application (IJA), why not let me take a look to make sure your resume reflects the criteria HR is going to be looking for when they begin the selection process? Don’t use that same old “one size fits all” resume you’ve used in applying to IJP’s in the past that got you absolutely NO where! One of the definitions of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results, so, STOP THE INSANITY and GET THE JOB!

Knowing that IJP’s go up and sometimes close within a matter of a few days, get your resume and the job description of the position you are applying to, to meas quickly as possible, preferably the day, or at least the day after the posting – the sooner the better. I’m pretty good, but I can’t work miracles, and remember you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. In other words, if you want to apply to a job, make sure you meet the minimum qualifications in order to have a reasonable expectation of consideration. Keep it real!
